  3. Ship the module to VinnieBuilt Automotive.
  4. We identify the ECU hardware and software version.
  5. Original ECU data is backed up where supported.
  6. Required programming procedures are completed.
  7. Your selected performance calibration is programmed.
  8. Programming is verified.
  9. Your ECU is securely returned ready for reinstall.

Designed for vehicles with factory or lightly modified hardware.

Stage 1 focuses on improved throttle response, stronger torque delivery and increased overall performance while maintaining refined street drivability.

Calibration is matched to the vehicle configuration and modifications supplied with your order.

THIS IS A MAIL-IN ECU PROGRAMMING SERVICE. ECU/ECM IS NOT INCLUDED.

You must send your existing module to VinnieBuilt Automotive.

Some vehicles or software versions may require additional programming, unlocking or compatibility procedures. If anything outside the purchased service is required, we will contact you before proceeding.

Previously modified, damaged, locked or improperly programmed modules may require additional service.

Mail-In Shipping Instructions

After placing your order, remove the ECU/PCM from the vehicle and package it securely for shipment.

Include Inside the Package

Please include a note containing:

  • Your full name
  • Shopify order number
  • Phone number
  • Vehicle year and model

Your vehicle information is also saved with your online order, but including the order number inside the package allows us to identify your ECU immediately when it arrives.

Packaging

  • Place the ECU in an anti-static bag when available.
  • Wrap the module securely with bubble wrap or other protective material.
  • Use a sturdy shipping box with enough padding to prevent the ECU from moving inside the package.
  • Do not place loose hardware, brackets or other heavy objects against the ECU.
  • Do not ship unrelated modules, keys or components unless specifically requested.

Shipping To VinnieBuilt Automotive

Ship your ECU using a carrier that provides tracking.

Inbound shipping to VinnieBuilt Automotive is the customer's responsibility.

We strongly recommend keeping your tracking number until your ECU has been confirmed as delivered.

Turnaround Time

Standard Service: Processed in the normal order received.

Priority 24-Hour Service: Programming is prioritized and normally completed within 24 business hours after the ECU has been received, checked in and verified compatible.

Shipping/transit time is not included in programming turnaround time.

Return Shipping

Once programming and verification are complete, your ECU will be packaged and shipped back to the shipping address provided with your order.

Tracking information will be provided when the return shipment is created.

Important

Do not ship your ECU before completing your online order.

Please write your order number clearly inside the package.

VinnieBuilt Automotive is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate customer packaging or for inbound packages lost or damaged by the shipping carrier.
